A fantastic initiative by the government, the ‘Go Local First’  campaign aims to get people to choose to spend with small, local Australian businesses by shining a spotlight on their importance to local communities.

The objectives of the influencer campaign that theright.fit managed for Go Local First were:

  1. Remind people that small businesses are the heart of Australian communities
  2. Highlight that COVID has been particularly tough for small businesses
  3. Remind people that when they support small, local businesses by choosing to shop with them in-store or online means it’s more likely the business will be there into the future, after the downturn

12 instagram influencers were engaged throughout the campaign, across the parenting niche, media personalities and influencers in regional areas. They bought the campaign to life with their real, authentic experiences of what supporting small local business means to them, with relevant imagery and stories. 

Each influencer delivered 1 in feed post and minimum of 1 instagram story with swipe up link to the website.

The campaign delivered 28 Pieces of unique content,
