Tell us about the brand, and how you got started?
Beysis is the first and only Australian company to produce a range of quality, cruelty-free beauty and lifestyle products that can be personalized by the customer. From humble beginnings in 2016 with the launch of a single nail polish line under the Say It With Polish brand, Beysis has been embraced by customers around the world.
The launch of the first Beysis wholesale range attracted over 200 stockists across Australia, New Zealand and further afield. The company’s unprecedented success led it to complete a Series A funding round in late 2018 in order to expand into a diverse range of beautifully designed must-haves for every woman. Driven by a mission to combat society’s disposable mindset where products are in one season and out the next, Beysis bucks the trend.
Featuring minimalistic, classic designs, Beysis create products that are sustainable, functional and completely customizable. It’s the combination of these core values that sets Beysis’s products apart from the rest. Female founded and owned, we’re also on a mission to empower and enable women worldwide. Partnering with Project Change International, all profits from the sale of our specially created 100% Cotton Shoppers will be donated to help fund the university degrees of young women in Cambodia who are determined to break out of the poverty cycle. Does the brand have a muse? Or what inspires you?
Not one particular muse, no. Our inspiration comes from the real, modern and mindful women in our lives. We believe in individuality, not conformity. In standing out, while making a stand. In the disposable age where products are in one season and out the next, Beysis bucks the trend. Featuring minimalistic, classic designs, we create products that are sustainable, functional and completely customizable. Which models did you select, and why?
We were overwhelmed with the number of applications we received for the campaign and were blown away by the diversity and quality of the talents. For the lifestyle shoot, we chose Maddison, Meggan & Valeriya who was a perfect fit for our brand.
We were looking for natural, fresh faces and these girls embodied everything we were searching for. Naturally beautiful on the inside and out, each with their own unique look, we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome and the stunning content we were able to create for our new website.

Tell us about the shoot day (people love behind the scenes/action stories)?
The shoot was a lot of fun and the girls brought so much energy and positivity to the set. There wasn’t a moment where the girls weren’t laughing and enjoying themselves which made the day run so smoothly. Acting ‘natural’ with so many people standing around, and with a hairdryer blowing in your face to create a wind-effect can’t be easy, but all three girls were a dream to work with.
