Public and Products Liability Policy

How Does it Work?

The sum insured is up to $20 million for public liability claims (any one occurrence), $20 million for product liability claim (any one occurrence and in the aggregate during the Policy Period) and $20 million for advertising injury (any one occurrence).

The sum insured for accidental loss, theft or damage done to talent property is up to $5,000 (any one loss).

Subject to the policy terms and conditions of the Insurance, all Claims made under the Insurance are subject to an Excess paid by the Insured Talent booked through theright.fit. A copy of the Policy Schedule is available upon request.

Who is Covered?

We have worked closely with Zurich to provide all of our talent with public liability insurance that covers them for up to $20 million for third party property damage and / or personal injury claims against them when completing bookings on theright.fit. In addition, we cover any accidental loss or property damage to our PRO talent’s personal contents for theft, damage or loss to the value of $5000.

What isn't Covered?

Any liability for personal injury and / or property damage arising from any sporting activity including but not limited to equestrian activities, bungee jumping, sky diving, aerial activities, rock climbing, abseiling, motor vehicle or motor cycle racing or rallie.

Working with Talent

How long does it take for my job to be approved?

If your job details are all complete, with the correct budget and clear brief, it will be approved in approximately 10 minutes during AEST business hours.

If there are any issues or missing details in terms of requirements, our customer service team will try to reach you to amend the brief so it can be approved and talent can begin applying to your job listing.

The more complete your brief the faster it will be approved.

Can I change the date or rate of a talent booking after booking them?

You can update your booking in theright.fit marketplace at any time. You are able to change the date or rate of a talent after you have booked them, by editing the booking.

Can I chat with talent?

Of course! You can use chat in theright.fit to send messages, upload attachments, and links to youtube or vimeo for casting videos.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Despite the best of planning sometimes things go awry and you need to make a change or cancellation, or request a refund.

You can edit or change the date and rate of your job any time, directly in the 'My Job' section of your account. Simply edit the booking for the individual you wish to edit the details for.

Can I cancel talent after I have booked them?

We understand sometimes things change and you need to cancel a booking.

If you need to cancel the talent you have booked, go to the job in question, then click the booked tab. Go to the talent you need to cancel, and press the Edit button, then "Delete this shift" button.

Payment and Fees

What does it cost to use theright.fit?

There are no fees to create an account, browse talent, or post a job. You only pay a 20% + GST commission when a talent completes their work for your job.

How do I know the final cost of my talent booking?

You'll see the exact amount in the price breakdown on the booking page, before you confirm and pay, and once completed you will receive an invoice from us.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Two days before your job begins, we will pre-authorise your credit card for the full amount and hold it until the job is successfully completed.

Are there minimum rates for booking talent?

We need to ensure the jobs offered to our clients are budgeted appropriately. Each job will be screened by theright.fit team to ensure it meets the minimum required rates per talent type, so you get a great result. We also want to ensure you are legally protected by not paying under the minimum legal award wages.This rate card gives you an indicative rate per category (Australian Dollars) but each project or talent may vary.

How do talent get paid?

Two days before your job begins we pre-authorise the full amount on your credit card. When the job is completed and two days have passed, your card is charged and funds are automatically transferred to the talent.

How do invoices work?

You only pay when work is completed and you will receive an invoice automatically once your card has been charged. We will hold the funds in escrow until the job is successfully completed and only charge when we pay out the talent.

What happens if my credit card payment fails?

Our payment processing system will attempt multiple times to pre-authorize your card with the full amount. You will receive an email and SMS alert if your payment fails and we are unable to pre-authorize the funds before booking. If we are unable to place a hold on the funds by 4pm (Eastern Australian Time) on the day before your booking, your job will be automatically cancelled.

Working with theright.fit

What experience do I need to sign up?

We’re here to connect brands with professional talent for paid campaigns, so to join theright.fit marketplace you need to have experience and a professional portfolio of work.

Can I sign up if I am already with an agency?

Absolutely! theright.fit is at the forefront of innovation in the entertainment and modelling industry so we’re not an agency. We simply connect talent and clients to push creative boundaries.

With that being said, it’s a good idea to keep your agency in the loop if you are currently represented.

If you are in an exclusivity contract or do have strict parameters regarding your rights to work, we encourage you to check with your agency, just to be sure.

What is the difference between Free and Pro memberships?

You can use theright.fit for free and apply for 3 jobs per month, and have up to 5 photos and 1 video on your profile. On each successful booking you will pay a 20% + GST commission. Or, you can upgrade to the PRO package for $10.95/month, which means you can apply for unlimited jobs, have unlimited photos and videos on your profile, and only pay a 10% commission on each successful booking. The choice is yours!

Payment and Fees

Will I be paid?

We guarantee that you will be paid on successful completion of the job. Theright.fit makes this safe and easy, by holding your pay in a trust before the job starts and then automatically releasing money to you when the job is completed.

How do I get paid for jobs through theright.fit?

Two days before your job begins we take your pay from the client and hold it in our trust account. When the job is completed and two days have passed, we automatically deposit your pay to your bank account.

What commission does theright.fit charge?

There is no fee to join theright.fit, create a profile, or apply for jobs. We only take a commission on your completed jobs. The commission structure is as follows:

Yes, you can send videos and photos to your client easily using our chat feature.

Can I cancel my booking or withdraw my application for jobs I applied for?

Of course, just login and cancel your job or application at any time.
