Brett Finch

Brett Finch is one of the most popular people in the game of rugby league. After debuting for the Canberra Raiders as a 17 year old, Finch went on to play in grand finals for both the Roosters and the Melbourne Storm. In 1996 he wrote himself into State of Origin folklore when he kicked the winning field goal in Game 1 – taking the Blues to a 17-16 win over Queensland. Finch also had stints with Parramatta and Wigan in the English Super League. With over 330 professional games to his credit, Finch can lay claim to being one of the most durable players ever to have played the game. Today Finch has made a named for himself as a media commentator, working with both Channel 9 and Radio Station 2GB. Currently working as a brand ambassador for leading betting agent PointsBet and the host of his own podcast, Uncensored. Many of the game’s leading players enjoy being interviewed by Finch because of the great respect they have for him as both a player and person.
