Ellen Grimshaw

Award winning professional actor for 15 years. Most recent credits: Jack Irish season 3 (series regular), Bloom season 2 on Stan, and award winning short film 'From Sent Ash To Dancing Ground' which Ellen played the lead in and which won 5 international film festival awards. Ellen has also written and performed in her own work in the independent theatre scene in Melbourne, as well as had her work published by Theatre Works. She has modelled professionally for many years, loves the outdoors, loves reading intersectional feminist literature, writing, and doing yoga. Currently based in Melbourne, and also a playwright, having graduated with a Masters in Writing for Performance from the prestigious VCA, Ellen loves absurdism and comedy the most, and is working on her first screenplay 'We're (not) having a moment'.
