Erika Zhang

I have been in the modeling industry for about 4 years now (mainly as a commercial model) and have been interested in photography and acting my whole life. I started off with doing ‘time for photo’ photo shoots in all different types of styles and then gradually began to to more professional shoots. I have also been in a short series acting as an extra with the role of being a model too. I am also a about to be graduate student of media communications and so I had much experience working behind the camera and in front of the camera (in uni and within my external internships). In this aspect I enjoying doing interviews and being a host as I love talking with people and capturing stories. My ethnic background is Chinese but grew up here in Melbourne Australia and I would say my style is very versatile to both cultures. My favorite type of photography style is Japanese style photography and my areas where I perform well is in the beauty and skin care type commercial shoots. As well as athletic type commercial shoots as I am a big lover of sports (especially volleyball) so I have developed a fit, healthily athletic appearance.
