James Brechney

James 'Breko' Brechney is a Sydney based MC. He currently hosts weekly Trivia & Music Bingo across town at venues including The Clock Hotel, Surlys, The Lord Raglan Hotel & Newtown's Marly Bar. He also produces and hosts his own corporate and private party versions of these events. Clients include American Airlines, The Guardian Australia, Commbank & Gumtree. He has been a regular red carpet MC for Sydney Olympic Park for live TV cross activations outside Qudos Bank Arena (Adele, Ed Sheeran). He also hosts corporate conferences throughout the year (Zero Waste Network, Outsource Financial). He has also done a fair share of TV work and radio. James is 39 years old and, and was on the Board of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras for 3 years until 2017. James was married at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade in 2018. He MCed the 40,000 person rally in Sydney's CBD for Australian Marriage Equality and in 2019 was nominated for the LGBTI Hero Award. In 2020 during the Covid Pandemic he pivoted into online Trivia and Music Bingo for work teams across Australia.
