Kasuni Imbulana

Hi, my name is Kasuni Imbulana. I am a Sri Lankan- Australian based in Melbourne. I am a trained actor, model, Bollywood dancer, self-proclaimed cinephile & most obsessed fur mum to a mini long haired dachshund named Milo. I am in love with learning languages & about other cultures, so if there's ever a film requiring me to speak Sinhalese, Hindi or French, I'm all ears. Over the years of exploring my craft, I have learnt acting techniques through performing arts in university plays, doing a number of extra roles, landing two feature films, taking workshops, learning at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) & continuing to learn currently at TAFTA (The Australian Film & Television Academy). One of my feature films which released last year was, 'Of An Age' directed by Goran Stolevski & has won many awards including being chosen at Melbourne International Film Festival's Opening Night Film in 2021. I have another feature film releasing this year, & I'm extremely excited to showcase it. Arts and the entertainment industry is not just a passion for me, but it is driven by my purpose. My purpose to empower people through stories, show the much-needed representation on screen that truly affect our mindset & play a part in celebrating colour & authenticity, & my purpose to spread positivity and kindness. I am proud of where I come from, my truth, my journey thus far, & I only hope to bring an abundance of creativity, purpose & positivity to your projects too!
