Kate Pickle

Kate has a degree in early childhood education & many years experience as a teacher & parent educator. As the parent of two boys & two girls, aged 8-15, including twins and a child with additional needs, Kate has a lot of ‘life experience’ (ie crazy, funny and relate-able stories) to share on parenting and family life, as well as a strong background in educational theory and child development. In recent years Kate has also added graphic design, web design and social media management to her skill set, which enables her to make eye-catching graphics and images and awesome printables for her blog and to develop engaging social media campaigns. Kate has been writing her blog, picklebums, since 2005. In that time she has grown a community of engaged readers and worked with a variety of different brands to help them reach real mums who are looking for ideas to make life fun and easy.
