Kirsty Carr

A performer at heart, I have been performing since I was a child. I’ve danced with the Sydney Dance Company & performed productions at the Sydney Entertainment Centre & Opera House. My passion is comedy & comedy acting. I’ve been doing stand up for two & a half years performing at venues in Australia, incl Sydney Comedy Festival & Fringe Festivals. I am booked weekly by various comedy rooms & am a quarter finalist in the Roast Battle Australia championship. I was the female lead actor in a short film ‘the other shore’ for Syd Fest, which was awarded 2022 indie short film of the year. I have also worked in the film Last days of the space age, & currently on Disney’s Planet of the Apes. I played a supporting role in independent feature film ‘Lickerish’. I have been an extra on Northshore, Home & Away, 10 Pound Poms, Last King of the Cross, & the PM’s Duaghter. I have appeared in commercials for Pink Cloud Kombucha; Good 360 charity; & Square. I have been a stand in for reality tv show My Mum Your Dad, & have done fit modelling, fashion modelling & a couple of boudoir shoots. I have skills in stand up comedy, sketch comedy, screen acting, pole dancing; modelling; scuba & yoga. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Population Health & Marketing, a certification as a confidence coach, & a mastery of creative development. I have also studied creative writing with author William Whitecloud, & have completed training with MIT & Mind Valley as a speaker and storyteller.
