Krista Simmons

I'm Krista Simmons, a seasoned culinary travel writer and producer telling stories on various digital platforms — primarily in video — in collaboration with my digital media company, Fork in the Road Media. Some of you may remember me from TV shows like Top Chef Masters, Knife Fight, Hell's Kitchen, or The Today Show. Or you may have seen my byline in Travel +Leisure, Departures, Los Angeles Times, or Tastemade. However you came across my culinary adventures, you've probably figured out that I live to make inspiring, shareable content showcasing the best stories in the food around the globe. I got into the game working in the world of wine while at UC Santa Cruz, and have held jobs in the restaurant industry since I was 15. After college I spent about a year working on farms around the globe, and then came home to start writing and shooting food stories. I also went to culinary school.
