I am Samita, an eco-entrepreneur and a sustainable fashion and lifestyle You Tube vlogger. I live in Melbourne Australia. I have a global audience. I am an alumnus of the NIFT, New Delhi, India. I have a Master's degree in Fashion Design with honours from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. I was a finalist at the Style Pasifika Fashion Awards in Auckland, New Zealand for two successive years. For nearly a decade, I was the Coordinator of Major Studies (Fashion and Costume Design) at the Academy of Design Australia (AoDA), Port Melbourne I lecture at international conferences and write articles on sustainable and ethical fashion and eco- textiles. My You Tube channel Learn with Samita is an ongoing dialogue about sustainable fashion, crafts, and communities. Learn with Samita offers top tips for a sustainable lifestyle. My goal is to reach every corner of the earth with Learn with Samita's eco-message. I am a finalist in the Podcast of the Year category at the Ausmumpreneur Awards in 2022. I was a finalist in the Sustainability Champion of the Year category at the National Retail Awards, Australia and in the Sustainability category at the Ausmumpreneur Awards in 2021. I was a finalist in Kingston City Council's Woman of the Year Awards in 2021. I was a finalist in three categories of the Ausmumpreneur Awards - Fashion, Sustainability, and Multicultural Business Excellence in 2020. I won the silver trophy in the sustainability category.
