Mathew Mizyed

I am a dancer and choreographer based in Sydney, Australia. My background in dance includes Commercial Dance, Contemporary styles as well as Urban and Jazz and I have worked with choreographers both in Australia and the USA. I moved to New York in 2012 where I worked with Derek Mitchell (Hamilton, Madonna) Salim Gauwloos (Madonna, The Face). In April 2014, I was personally chosen by Dana Foglia (Alvin Ailey, Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Dana Foglia Dance Company) to travel to Los Angeles where I performed works as well as recieved mentorship by Dana Foglia and other LA industry leaders. I have performed on a number of commercial platforms such as MTV Music Award performances, Aria Music Awards, New York’s ABC and more. Since my return to Sydney I have presented my own choreographic works in a number of platforms in Sydney such as Sydney Fringe Festival 2017 and NIDA Theater.
