Nasia Christie

Nasia Christie is an actor, writer, and singer-songwriter. She grew up near the city of Ballarat in Victoria, Australia, which sparked her imagination, and later moved to Sydney where she was awarded a scholarship at the Actors College of Theatre and Television. She studied full-time at Brent Street School of Performing Arts under the mentorship of John Noble (Lord of the Rings; Denethor II, Fringe; Dr. Walter Bishop). Christie also studied Meisner at the Actor's Pulse with Billy Milionis (an honorary student of Sanford Meisner; The Playhouse Theatre of New York) for two terms and has a Bachelor of Arts (Musicology Honors) with the University of Sydney. Christie had also undertaken electives in English literature and film studies at the University of Sydney where she rekindled her passion for creative writing. Nasia Christie went on to take courses with Stephen Webber and Pat Pattison (Berklee College of Music), John Truby (The Writers Studio), James Patterson and David Mamet.
