About
Pace Randolph is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Sydney's Inner West. His music draws from a wide range of genres and is inspired by various artists from The Police and Chris Stapleton, to Rihanna and Green Day. The diversity of influences underpins his music, while his soulful voice ties it all together.
From a young age, Pace had an interest in music. He was sent to piano lessons at the age of six after showing his parents the first song he’d ever written ‘The Little Crocodile’. Eventually piano turned into clarinet, which turned into him learning bass guitar, electric guitar and also the saxophone. With these skills, Pace joined several high school bands and played throughout the city regularly, developing his songwriting skills and eventually starting off on his solo project.
In 2020 he released his debut EP Full Contact after a run of shows through Sydney, Paris and London. To challenge himself and to keep motivated during the pandemic, Pace spent the first two months of the lockdown writing a song every day and sharing it online. This eventually led to his rapid growth on TikTok, where he currently has over 135K followers and millions of views on his videos.
His mixtape 'Pace 2020: an aspiring imperfectionist' was released in January 2021 and celebrates the year that put his music on the map. The first single on the mixtape 'Push You Further' was a collaborative project with his fans.
