I'm a teritary qualified food and drink journalist which in turn led me to become the founder and editor of DrinkMelbourne; Melbourne's (and possibly Australia's) very 1st blog about cocktail culture, upscale bars and craft spirits! My other drink-related career experience includes: - cocktail competition judging for Rum Diary Spiced Rum's 'From Cane to Glass', Iron Bartender, Diplomatico’s World Tournament & Angostura’s Global comps. - being a contributing author/reviewer for books inclduing The Eating and Drinking Guide to Melbourne and Melbourne Precincts. - selection as a pre-release spirits taste-tester for Southern Wild Distillery - co-founding The Aussie Spirit Auction - a collaborative charity fundraiser for bushfire relief supported by local spirits distilleries. - contributing written articles to Broadsheet Melbourne, The Urban List Mebourne, Vintage Cellars' 'Grapevine' and Polkadot Bride's 'Cocktail Friday' series. - being the official live event reporter on social media for the renowned Junipalooza festival by The Gin Queen and Gin Foundry.
