Silvia Colloca

Silvia Colloca is an Italian-born food writer, TV producer and host. She has authored five cookbooks, Silvia’s Cucina, Made in Italy, La Dolce Vita (all published by Penguin) and Love, Laugh, Bake! (published by Plum), and her latest book launched in February 2021, Simple Italian. Silvia is due to release her sixth cookbook later in 2022. Silvia is also a regular contributor to Delicious and Delicious On Sunday since 2014. Her latest series for SBS Food, “Cook Like an Italian” has been hugely popular, with its third series due to air in May 2022 on SBS Food. In 2020, Silvia was thrilled to see her series Wok Vs Pot, with friend & celebrated cook, Marion Grasby, premier on SBS Food, with the series currently being sold around the world. And there is more to Silvia’s bow than food and cooking. As a celebrated Opera Singer and versatile actress, Silvia has a huge range of presenting skills, that makes her able to move seamlessly into different styles of hosting roles. Silvia is currently the Ambassador for SMEG Australia, where she shares her love for quality-made Italian appliances, and in 2022 she is the brand ambassador for Essteele Cookware.
