About
Multidisciplinary artist and activist, Sravya Attaluri creates illustrations destigmatizing mental illness as well as promoting intersectional feminism and representation – especially of brown people. Sravya’s work is known for style fluctuations that reflect her current state of mind and honest mental health messages that have attracted brand collaborations with Fortune 500 companies like Facebook, ULTA Beauty, Adobe, Sanofi and startups like Self Care is for Everyone, and Inkbox.
Born in India, raised in Korea and currently living in Hong Kong, Sravya uses art as a language to connect with others and cope with her own mental illness. A classically trained fine art student graduating from the University of Southern California and former WPP Senior Graphic Designer, Sravya founded Hello Colour – a design studio working with brands making a social impact and has since directed creative campaigns for the likes of Our Streets Now, Sesh Therapy, Plan International UK, and Clear Channel.
Sravya’s belief that art has the power to motivate, educate and bring people together evolved into her non-profit organization, Draw for Mental Health which provides visibility and growth opportunities for artists with mental health specializations.
