Taylah Cousins

Hi there! I’m Taylah and I’ve been performing as a professional screen actor since I was 16. I’ve appeared in a variety of National TVCs and have completed the Screen Wise Advanced Acting Short Course with Robert Mammone. For 2 years I have also been running my own videography and content creation business. I help my clients bring their creative visions to life across a variety of social media platforms. I also love posting about fitness, veganism and my coastal lifestyle across my personal Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube accounts. I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Film, Spanish and Latin American Studies) in June 2020. During my formal education I cultivated valuable academic writing, research and video editing skills. I enjoyed being exposed to wonderful directors, films and art styles in my film criticism, art history and digital communication classes. I also studied Spanish and took a variety of tutorials focused on filmmaking, art and politics in Latin America. As part of my degree, I spent three weeks studying with the Sijal Institute of Arabic Language and Culture in Amman, Jordan. Prior to my undergraduate degree I spent most of my time travelling overseas or performing in Australia as an actor or musician. I’ve completed the AMEB Grade 7 Classical Guitar Practical Examination. I’m also an ethical vegan of over 12 years. I live on the South Coast of NSW but I love that I'm only a short trip away from beautiful Sydney!
