- What inspired you to become a creator/songwriter/model and how did you get started in the industry?
My journey with music began at age seven when I started guitar and piano lessons, thanks to my parents' encouragement. It wasn’t just a hobby—it quickly became a lifeline. At twelve, I moved from New Caledonia to Australia, not knowing a word of English. In that unfamiliar world, music became my voice. It gave me a way to express myself, connect with others, and feel at home when everything else felt foreign. That early experience shaped not only my sound but the emotional core of everything I create today.
I studied music at university in Sydney, Australia, where I started performing at local venues and immersing myself in the live music scene. Around the same time, I began crafting my debut record—an experience that not only shaped my sound but also marked my first real step into the industry.
In terms of modeling, I got scouted when I was 14 and have always modeled on the side while doing music.
- Can you walk us through a typical day in your life as a creator/songwriter/model from start to finish?
When I’m not on the road performing, my days are usually a mix of creative and personal rituals. Mornings often start with photoshoots or meetings, followed by carving out time for a workout to stay grounded and energized. Most nights, you’ll find me in the recording studio, diving into new music and shaping the next project. While my routine shifts with the seasons, that rhythm—creating, moving, and refining—is what a typical day looks like for me.
- Are you a creator/songwriter/model full-time/part-time, or casually? And how do you manage your finances and what strategies have you found most effective?
I’m a full-time singer-songwriter and part-time model and content creator. In a creative career where no two months look the same, I’ve learned the importance of balancing passion with practicality. I make it a priority to set aside savings and reinvest into my art—whether it's for studio time, visuals, or live shows. Having a few steady residencies has also helped create a stable foundation, allowing me to keep building while staying creatively free.
- What types of brand partnerships have you worked on in the past, and how do you decide which collaborations to take on as a creator/songwriter/model?
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a range of brands, including Ralph Lauren, RedNation, Rolland, Nike, the Mercury Insurance Concert Series, and Daniel Wellington. I aim to partner with brands that genuinely resonate with me—those that align with my personal style, values, and the kind of content I create. While there have been a few exceptions for the right project or budget, I’m most passionate about working with brands I truly believe in and feel a meaningful connection to.
- Can you share any tips for negotiating rates with brands, and how do you determine your own value as a creator/songwriter/model?
The most important advice I would offer is to know your worth. As creatives, we dedicate countless hours and energy into developing our craft and building our personal brand—work that holds significant value and should be treated as such.
- How do you stay updated with industry trends and best practices as a creator/songwriter/model, and what resources do you rely on for education and inspiration?
Primarily through social media, I stay connected with brands and other creators who inspire me, continually drawing motivation and ideas from their work.
- Have you faced any challenges or setbacks in your career as a creator/songwriter/model, and how did you overcome them?
Absolutely, it’s something we all face regularly in this industry. Building a lasting career in the creative world is a marathon, and along the way, I’ve learned to embrace the challenges. Instead of seeing obstacles as setbacks, I’ve come to view them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Over the years, I’ve realized that persistence is key—it's about pushing forward, staying true to your vision, and trusting that every experience, whether positive or difficult, shapes you into a stronger, more resilient artist.
- How do you achieve work-life balance as a creator/songwriter/model, even when life throws unexpected challenges your way?
At the beginning of my career, this was something I really struggled with. In this field, it’s easy to get caught up in the constant hustle, always feeling like there’s more to be done and never enough time. But over the years, I’ve learned that taking time for myself is just as important as the work itself. Whether it’s spending time with loved ones, working out, traveling, or simply stepping away to recharge, I’ve come to realize that these moments of balance are what truly keep me motivated and connected to my purpose.
- How do you see the creator/songwriter/model industry evolving in the next 5-10 years, and what changes do you anticipate?
I believe AI is going to bring about significant changes, and once again, we’ll have to adapt to new standards. With any major shift, there’s always a mix of positives and challenges, but I’m a firm believer that we should focus on the opportunities—using these new tools to enhance and elevate what we do. At the core of it all, I believe art will always remain the essence of humanity. No matter how much the landscape around it evolves, art will continue to thrive in its most authentic, organic form.
- Can you share any upcoming projects or partnerships that you're excited about, and how do you plan to continue growing your brand as a creator/songwriter/model?
Yes! I’m currently deep into working on my next album, set to drop later this year, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve already released two singles from the record, and the response has been incredible—I can’t wait for everyone to hear the full album. As for continuing to grow, I’m always pushing myself to evolve. Whether it’s writing new songs, honing my skills on different instruments, or building my brand, I’m constantly striving to level up and keep my creativity flowing.
- What advice would you give to aspiring creator/songwriter/model who are starting out and looking to build a successful career in the industry?
My advice would be to trust the process, stay true to yourself, and give everything you’ve got—110%! When you truly love what you’re doing, the challenges become easier to face, and the journey becomes that much more rewarding. Passion is the fuel that keeps you going, even when things get tough.
