After dedicating his life to sports and gaining a breakout moment on Love Island, Andy discovered a passion for content creation. He shares how he stays consistent, collaborates with brands he loves, and navigates a fast-changing industry. Ready to be inspired? Let’s dive into his journey!

1. What inspired you to become a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer and how did you get started in the industry?

I’ve been an athlete my entire life, but content creating and modeling only came to me in my late 20’s. As I started to mature, I found myself gravitating towards content creating. And after I was cast for Love Island, it really started to take off.

2. Can you walk us through a typical day in your life as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer from start to finish?

My days revolve around a lot of training, eating, and squeezing in content. Coming up with ideas and bringing them to life takes time, but my main focus is still being a professional athlete. It’s a full-time gig, almost like a 9-to-5, but with more sweat and fewer coffee breaks!

3. Are you a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer full-time/part-time, or casually? And how do you manage your finances and what strategies have you found most effective?

I would definitely say that I work casually as a creator but I try to execute content when possible. My baseball contract is my real paycheck, but content creation is really starting to increase in my day to day activities! I hope to do more each week and month.

4. What types of brand partnerships have you worked on in the past, and how do you decide which collaborations to take on as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer?

I’ve worked mostly with clothing brands in the past and typically I work with companies that have products that I truly enjoy! For me, there is no truth in promoting a product that you would never use, so finding something that works for you is the best way to choose brands to work with.

5. Can you share any tips for negotiating rates with brands, and how do you determine your own value as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer?

Negotiating can be tough when you’re starting out, but the key is proving your worth to clients. Being able to prove to a company how you’d be an asset to their goals is massive when it comes to negotiating. My advice? Share your metrics, highlight engagement, and emphasize the unique value you bring to the table. Confidence and preparation are essential when asking for what you’re worth.

6. How do you stay updated with industry trends and best practices as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer, and what resources do you rely on for education and inspiration?

I always make time to browse social media for fresh ideas. Everyone is finding inspiration from others' work and adding their own twist… So, what makes you different? What sets you apart from everyone else?

7. Have you faced any challenges or setbacks in your career as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer, and how did you overcome them?

to be honest, I haven’t necessarily faced too many setbacks. The growth has been slow, so the “setbacks” are typically just growing through slow periods. Finding a niche in the internet is difficult, and algorithms are confusing, but consistency outweighs everything else.

8. How do you achieve work-life balance as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer, even when life throws unexpected challenges your way?

Always finding a way to compartmentalize things. Do one thing at a time, complete it, and move on. Too many tasks on your plate at a single time is stressful and can weigh you down, so focus on one task at a time, and then move on!

9. How do you see the Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer Industry evolving in the next 5-10 years, and what changes do you anticipate?

I think there will be a time when TV and newspaper advertisements are almost nonexistent. All marketing budgets will primarily be spent on social media. With that, the ability to “influence” others will come at a high price, and people will be seen as commodities.

10. Can you share any upcoming projects or partnerships that you're excited about, and how do you plan to continue growing your brand as a Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer?

I have another project with my favorite boot company, Blundstone, coming up! I have worked with them a few times in the past, and love their product so much!

11. What advice would you give to aspiring Model, Actor, Presenter, Influencer who are starting out and looking to build a successful career in the industry?

Be consistent! That’s the only way to continue the path forward… A lot of people find  success and then they get complacent, but finding the focus and motivation to stay on your path will always prevail. Find your niche, and work on it consistently 😊
